Mercy Hospital for Women offers the care and support you will need while you are pregnant, during your labour and after the birth. Most births at the hospital are straight forward and uncomplicated but it is reassuring to know you and your baby have the backup of specialist medical, midwifery and neonatal staff available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We encourage you to choose a model of care that best suits your individual needs. Options include Standard Care, which is provided by obstetricians and midwives, Shared Care with a GP, Team Maternity or the Family Birth Centre.
Alternatively, if suitable, you may choose to have your baby in the Family Birth Centre. If you wish to choose the Family Birth Centre, please organise a tour by phoning 03 8458 4082.
