Mercy Health O'Connell Family Centre


The Mercy Health O’Connell Family Mothers and children are supported by skilled staffCentre provides support and education for parents and families who are experiencing difficulties or who need additional support in the early stages of parenting (children up to 4 years old).

We also provide education and training for health professionals who work with families.

 

Support is available for families experiencing difficulties including:

  • Adjusting to parenting and family relationships
  • Feeding / nutrition – including breastfeeding and introduction of solids
  • Health, growth and development of children
  • Early behaviour difficulties
  • Sleeping and settling

Help is offered through residential and day stay programs at our centre in Canterbury or through day stay programs at various locations in Melbourne.

Families can contact us directly for help or are referred through their doctor or Maternal & Child Health Nurse.
