Reaccreditation for Shared Maternity Care Affiliates: 2011-2013 The reaccreditation criteria for shared maternity care GPs for the 2011-2013 triennium for Mercy Hospital for Women, The Women’s, Sunshine Hospital and The Northern Hospital (known as the Shared Maternity Care Collaborative, SMCC) have been finalised.
For reaccreditation, one of the following activities needs to be completed by late 2010: - 10 category two RACGP CPD points in pregnancy related topics - Attendance at an annual Shared Care Workshop held by the SMCC - Attendance at one antenatal clinic - Other equivalent activities as assessed by GP Liaison Medical Officers
It is anticipated applications for reaccreditation will be sent out mid 2010 for completion in late 2010. For any queries, feel free to contact the GPLO at any of the four hospital sites.

Application for Accreditation as a Shared Maternity Care Affiliate
GPs and Obstetricians wishing to apply for accreditation as a Shared Maternity Care Affiliate – please click here to download the application form. Successful applicants will be accredited as Shared Maternity Care Affiliates at Mercy Hospital for Women, The Royal Women’s Hospital, Sunshine Hospital and The Northern Hospital until December 31st 2010.
